Organic Fertilizer Granulator

In organic fertilizer production, granulation is the core process that converts powdered organic materials into granular products. Different raw material characteristics, capacity targets, and process requirements determine the selection of granulation equipment. OFEC offers three mainstream models – the drum granulator, disc granulator , roller Granulator – covering the full spectrum from small-scale trials to large-scale industrial organic fertilizer production.

Drum Granulator

The OFEC Drum Granulator is the core granulation equipment designed for large-scale organic fertilizer production. Using a wet agglomeration process, materials roll, tumble, and agglomerate into spherical pellets through the rotating motion of the drum.

Key Features:
● Single-unit capacity of 3–30 t/h, suitable for large-scale continuous production
● Granulation rate of 40%–60%, with high pellet roundness and compressive strength up to 25N
● Wide raw material adaptability – processes livestock manure, straw, biogas residue, and various organic materials
● High pellet strength – ideal for long-distance transport and long-term storage
● Supports complete integration with drying, cooling, and screening systems for fully automated production lines

Application Scenarios:
● Large-scale continuous production in large organic fertilizer plants
● Projects with annual output exceeding 100,000 tons
● Applications requiring high-strength pellets for long-distance transport

Applicable Materials: Fermented livestock manure, straw powder, humic acid, biogas residue, municipal sludge, and various other organic materials

Disc Granulator

The OFEC Disc Granulator is an economical granulation solution designed for small to medium-scale organic fertilizer projects. Using a wet agglomeration process, materials continuously tumble and agglomerate on an inclined rotating disc under the combined action of centrifugal force and friction.

Key Features:
● Single-unit capacity of 0.5–8 t/h, suitable for small to medium-scale production
● Granulation rate of 80%–95%, producing well-rounded, aesthetically pleasing spherical granules
● Simple structure with low investment cost and small footprint (approx. 5 m²)
● Intuitive operation – operable by 1–2 persons, easy maintenance
● Adjustable inclination and speed for flexible formula changeover

Application Scenarios:
● Small to medium-scale organic fertilizer plants and farm-based production
● Projects with annual output below 50,000 tons
● Applications requiring frequent formula changes and high pellet appearance quality
● Startups or small-scale investors with limited budgets

Applicable Materials: Fermented livestock manure, humic acid, bio-organic fertilizer, straw powder, biogas residue, etc.

Roller Granulator

The OFEC Roller Granulator is a granulation solution designed for high-moisture organic materials and energy-efficient production. Using a dry pressure granulation process, two counter-rotating high-pressure rollers compress powdered organic materials at ambient temperature.

Key Features:
● Single-unit capacity of 1–5 t/h, with multi-unit parallel expansion capability
● No drying or only low-temperature drying required – finished pellet moisture content of only 2%–5%, reducing overall energy consumption by 30%–50%
● Dense, high-strength pellets with a granulation rate exceeding 93%
● Dry process with zero wastewater, zero exhaust gas, and zero solid waste discharge
● Cold granulation process – microbial survival rate exceeding 90%, suitable for bio-organic fertilizer production

Application Scenarios:
● Regions with high energy costs or limited heat sources
● Applications requiring “no-dry pellet fertilizer” production
● Small to medium-scale processing plants and bio-organic fertilizer production
● Organic fertilizer projects with microbial activity requirements

Applicable Materials: Fermented livestock manure, humic acid, bio-organic fertilizer, straw powder, biogas residue, etc. Recommended moisture content ≤5%–10%.
